Our "Litigation × AI Chat" wrapped up at Stanford University, bringing together more than 30 participants — onsite and online — for a conversation on how AI is transforming litigation work.
The room held an incredible mix of perspectives: Big Law and boutique-firm litigators (including a few veterans with 30+ years of practice), Harvey's algorithm engineer Jin Zhang, GC AI's founding legal engineer Magdalena Fish, and several legal-AI founders — among them Téo Doremus, founder of Advocacy, a litigation-AI startup that had just closed its Seed round.
We had rich exchanges about how AI is changing litigation workflows — from e-discovery to case analytics — and about how lawyers and builders can collaborate more effectively.
A huge thank-you to my co-host, Leo You Li, J.S.D. candidate at Stanford Law School, and to everyone who joined, shared, and contributed to the discussion. We only remembered to take a photo at the very end, so many wonderful people didn't make it into the picture — but the energy absolutely filled the room.
